Daniel Isles is a UK-born illustrator based in Hokkaido, Japan. His preferred tools of choice are pencil and ink, which allow him to create crisp clean lines in his unique signature style. The focus of his work often depicts characters wearing interestingly cool attire in moments of time, with a sense of spirituality about them and the world they inhabit.
He's recently released his successful NFT collection The Art of Seasons.
Inspired by animated cartoons and comics, I started drawing from a very young age and continued to hone my craft over the years.
Personally, I’d say my first big breakthrough came when I was able to quit my day job to completely focus and work as an independent artist.
I don’t really have a particular favourite, as each one required something different that allowed me to discover and develop new things, but I am currently enjoying work on my graphic novel at the moment.
